New reviews about business services in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania

  • Christi is not only good as an accountant; she is very thorough , direct and immediate and she has given us some common sense business advice. Over a number of years, Christi has been beneficial to us and we enthusiastically recommend her.

Be VERY careful before doing business with this company. When we tried to switch companies, they sent cancellation notices to DOT and PUC. UNPROFESSIONAL. Don't waste your money

  • I love this little branch, tucked into our neighborhood Acme. Everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful. I also appreciate the evening hours.

It is with a heavy heart and pure luck that I even give this place two stars. There are are only three reasons that this apartment facility should ever receive positive reviews. The first reason would have to be the maintenance staff. They are hardworking, kind, and always there to assist residents at a timely notice. The second reason would have to be the residents that live throughout the community. Very kind, courteous, and welcoming to new residents moving into the community. Finally the third reason would have to be the close proximity to Phoenixville and Bridge Street. Besides that, Riverworks is astronomically overpriced for what they offer, very condescending, and have no idea how to set up activities for the residents to actually become a community. Yes, Riverworks has a beautiful campus and the clubhouse is like nothing I have ever seen, but I feel as if the staff has no idea how to utilize what they have to benefit residents. They have monthly resident committee meeting, but nothing ever gets done there. Not many people can get back to their apartments by the time the meeting begins at 6:00pm. It would be a lot more effective if they started the meetings at 7:00pm. The events should have to deal with residents getting together and getting to know one another, not having ten "National "fill in the blank" Days" every month. When events are planned, the community is only notified a few days ahead of time normally, which isn't great communication because many residents already have plans already scheduled by then. Besides the Super Bowl party and the first Eagles game in September, all the other events have been sub-par. Following of the rules and communication from the staff to the residents is a little suspect also throughout the community. For example the phrase, "Clubhouse Closed for Private Event" is not clearly explained. I used to get so many dirty looks and had random people coming up to me, that don't live here, asking if I should be grilling or watching at the outdoor TV during their scheduled event. I could be wrong, but aren't they only renting the clubhouse?!? I've seen people get towed who live here and have passes and random cars sit at the facility all weekend with no pass. Our friends, within the community, have been wrongly accused multiple times by the staff which led many to believe they were being singled out. While other individuals get away with committing "lease violations". Filing complaints don't work, they just smile at you and say, "Oh really?", "I'll look into that", "I'll keep my eyes open". Don't get me wrong, like I said in the beginning, I love the community... but the staff really knows how to be a buzzkill when it comes to setting up activities and events. The only reason they bought the outdoor games during the summer was because corporate was coming to the event. By the way, did anyone see how destroyed those games were after one month of Riverworks letting them sit out in the rain? When I moved in here I gave Riverworks a 5/5 and couldn't stop raving about my new apartment to my friends and family. Then i realized that the dishwasher and washer/dryer were cheap utilities. The paint on the wall easily comes off and the bugs outside always find a way under the doors and into your apartment. After three months, I realized that they rushed to build some of these buildings and had major flaws with the wiring and windows in the 2000 building. Right now I have my rating at a 2/5, but I can promise you that it will be a 1/5 if I see "Waste Bin Full" one more time when I go in for coffee before work. It's not that hard to fix this issue. I know there are individuals who know how to empty the waste bin that work/live on the campus. There is my review of Riverworks. Pretty sure I could write a novel about this facility and some of my experiences here. I highly doubt that my review will stay up long, due to the fact that companies don't appreciate negative advertising, but I can promise that my review is honest and reliable.
